Cadence
You may recognize this precious little girl from the Thanksgiving post below. Cadence is my adorable little cousin who was in from Baltimore for the holiday. I was so excited to hear I was going to get to photograph her while they were in town. Cadence, Katie, Jesse, Christi, and myself met at Canonsburg this morning. Cadence was not to excited about the camera but we still managed to get some cute shots. I have had two year olds do a lot of funny things during a shoot, however, today Cadence topped them all! We were nearing the end of the shoot, she looked dead on at the camera and said in a whining voice, "NO CHEESE!". Hilarious!! Here is a sneak peek of what we got! Thanks for all your help today guys! Enjoy!

So Thankful...
(My crazy family Thanksgiving 2008)
As Thanksgiving is getting ready to be celebrated, I have been recalling my year so far and just how much I have to be grateful for. As many of you know, 2009 has been a trying year for my loved ones and myself. I feel so fortunate because so many people have trying years and they do not always come out as good as mine has. Through all the pain of 2009, I have so many things to be grateful for. It can often be easy to lose sight of the blessings that occur in everyday life when there is so much trial and tribulation going on. Therefore, I want to take this time to acknowledge all of the great things that I am thankful for.
I am thankful I have God's undying love. I am thankful to have a wonderful and loving family. I am thankful that the love of my life has made a full and healthy recovery. I am thankful for the friends and family who prayed for us everyday through his illness. I am thankful for all of the support I am being given while starting my business in photography. I never dreamed that it would take off the way it has and for that I thank you! I feel so truly blessed to have so many things in life to be thankful for. I could go on and on.
This Thanksgiving Day, let's remember what we truly have to be thankful for. Let's take a good, hard look around us and realize that while we may not have everything we want, what we want is not always what we need and although life can be scary, sad and difficult at times there are always blessings that come out of it. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and strives to understand the true meaning of this great American holiday as we celebrate with friends and family.
Below is a quick glimpse into some of November that has not been posted yet. Like I said I am so thankful for everyone’s support with my business. November has been crazy busy and I am absolutely loving every minute of it! How could I not though when I get to be with great people like this and capture their special moments in life! Enjoy everyone!

A Great Family!
After the evacuation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the Schmidt's landed in Murfreesboro with their two beautiful children, Hana who just started as a freshman at Oakland High School and Ethan who is in 5th grade at Saint Rose.
Four years after the storm, like so many others, the Schmidt's are still dealing with the rebuilding process in New Orleans.
They have a studio that is nearly finished in Chalmette and a home that still has a little ways to go. Although many aspects of their lives have changed, the business they started together during the nineties in New Orleans has continued to prosper after being uprooted and replanted here in Murfreesboro. That business is Vdesign, a graphic design and web development company. Since Vdesign operates in both cities, Eric continues to travel between the two. I am happy to say Vdesign constructed my website and thank goodness we became such great friends afterwards cause this family RocKs! Check out their fantastic work at www.vdesign.com!
Although their lives and a lot of New Orleans will never be quite the same, I can vouch that Murfreesboro became a better place since the Schmidt’s arrival. My and many other's lives have become enriched by their friendship and I feel very fortunate to know and love such great people!
I hope you enjoy the sneak peek guys! Gumbo soon??? :)

We're Related
Meet some of the Florida clan! This is my cousin Brent, his wife Jessica, and gorgeous daughter Anne Marie! I was lucky enough to get to capture some great images of them on Sunday at Jessica's parents home. Anne Marie definitely gave me a run for my money and we had a blast! I don't know that I have ever met a faster three year old! :) A huge thanks goes out to Brent, Jessica, and the Boggess's for all the great help! Hope you all enjoy the Sneak Peek!
